E8 Vinyasa

Flow and fly through this 8-Limb inspired invigorating Vinyasa class.

Synchronizing breath with movement this energetic practice will create internal heat, sweat, and aid in detoxifying mind & body. 

Polish your focus as you move toward mastery--learn when to move through challenge and when to rest. This class is open level and best suited to those who have taken at least a few yoga classes before. 


Meet the Morning Flow

Fluidity reigns in this feel-good flow class.

Perception, balanced effort to build strength, and delicious stretching come together in this thoughtful morning class. 


Core Focus Flow

Explore whole body work with a focus on stabilizing, balancing, and toning the muscles of your core (abdominal region, sides, glutes, and back). 

"Skills & Drills" style work is interspersed to prime & strengthen the targeted muscle groups and your connection to them. 

You can expect to create a steady heat through fluid and consistent effort.


Gentle Yoga & Meditation

This accessible class offering is paced and sequenced for a gentle strengthening and mobility with about 10-15 minutes spent in meditation.

You can expect to start on the mat, to warm up, move to standing and then move back to the mat once again. Sometimes meditation is done at the start, sometimes at the end, and sometimes a little of both. 

No experience is necessary, this class invites you into the work and is adaptable for varying levels and needs. 


Mellow Flow

Weave breath and movement together in this slow flow with an even energy and pace.

Access whole body connection in moving meditation while cultivating strength and stretch in the muscles. Mellow, rooted, freeing. 

Moving slowly means you can incorporate more or less physical intensity depending on what you need. 


Power Yoga

A strong, moving practice with an athletic essence, this class brings the best of strengthening, flexibility, balance, and intention.

If you already love power yoga or are interested in developing more athleticism in your yoga practice, put this class on your calendar.


Steady Bliss Flow

A multi-peak Vinyasa Flow class--come prepared for variety.

Empowerment and self-study are among the primary class intentions in this whole-body, whole-mind practice enriched by breath.

Learn unique transitions and flows while appreciating all the ways a body can move, both in strength and in flexibility. 


Stretch & Center

Unwind all the way. Access that which feels deeply freeing in your body--no matter where you are with your flexibility, spend time with your breath in peaceful practice.

You will be given time, guidance, and space to honor your body and lean into yoga aimed at flexibility. Learn to soothe the nervous system so you are getting the most out of not only your yoga practice, but out of your whole physical system. 

Meditation techniques woven into the poses throughout class. A great place to start for the new meditator and a great place to explore physical meditation for those with an existing meditation practice.

Some wish to do it all, and that is why we have created CHY as a growing full-spectrum yoga center in the Crystal City.
